I had big plans to write about my gardening homework this week but I need to walk out the door in 5-minutes so here is the short version. I'm taking a gardening class and this weeks homework was to design a pollinators garden using herbaceous plants (doesn't that sound complicated!). So we needed to design an garden for bees and butterflies using a variety of plants so the garden will bloom from March - October. We also needed to use some native plants. I found some great resources so if you want to take on the challenge check out the following links:

I ended up planning the following plants for the garden:
Tulips
Astilbe
Yarrow
Lavender
Purple Cone-flower
Daisy
Bee Balm
Daffodil
Ooops, now I'm late.
